Iowa flips 2019 OLB ahead of early signing period

Iowa’s recruiting class is picking up a bit of steam heading into Wednesday’s early signing period.

It began with the reported commitment of TE Sam LaPorta. LaPorta is a versatile TE with good hands out of Illinois, and the Hawkeyes’ 2019 class received another boost Tuesday evening.

OLB Yahweh Jeudy tweeted out a graphic officially announcing his commitment to the Hawkeyes. A former commit to Kansas State, Jeudy flipped and now appears set to sign with Iowa:

Jeudy is listed as a 3-star OLB out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. At 6-foot-2 and 215 lbs., Jeudy has the necessary tools to develop into an impressive defender with the Hawkeyes.
