Unfortunately for the Hawkeyes, Rebraca’s success did not translate to a win.
The Hawkeyes fell at home to the Eastern Illinois Panthers by a score of 92-83. After starting the 2022-23 season 5-0, the Hawkeyes have lost 4 of their last 7. The loss moves the Hawkeyes to 8-4 on the season.
Coming into Monday, the Panthers were just 3-9 on the season. The Panthers had played 2 other B1G teams, Illinois and Ohio State, and lost by 20+ in both.
The Hawkeyes will next travel to Lincoln to take on the Nebraska Cornhuskers on December 29. Tipoff for that game will be at 7 p.m. ET on BTN.
