Iowa hosting Black & Gold Spirit Game this weekend

Iowa got a win in its season-opener over Miami (OH), 45-21. It was the first game at Kinnick Stadium for the 2016 season. For Week 2, against Iowa State also at Kinnick Stadium, the Hawkeyes have deemed the game as a “Black & Gold” Spirit Game.

The Cyclones opened up its 2016 season with a 25-20 home loss to Northern Iowa.
The battle for the Cy-Hawk Trophy is slated to start at 6:30 p.m. CST on Saturday. The game will also be televised on BTN.
