Iowa is taking a page out of Minnesota's book on Gophers' field goal attempts
Generating discussion and memes across college football, the No. 8 Minnesota Golden Gophers have turned heads with their “curious gopher” video on opponents’ field goal attempts at TCF Bank Stadium.
Traveling to Kinnick Stadium in Iowa City to face the No. 20 Hawkeyes on Saturday, Minnesota got a taste of their own medicine.

Known for the fans’ close proximity to the field and the pink visitors’ locker room, Kinnick Stadium has rightfully earned a reputation as one of the toughest venues to college football to steal a road win.
Jumping out to a 20-6 halftime lead, the Hawkeyes have lived up to this reputation thus far. Senior quarterback Nate Stanley has been nearly flawless, connecting on 8-10 passes for 108 yards and two scores.
Ripping off a 10-yard touchdown run in the first quarter to give Iowa a 13-0 lead, freshman Tyler Goodson has paced the Hawkeyes’ ground attack with 77 yards on nine totes.
With one of the FBS’ five unbeaten teams on the ropes, this B1G West showdown is airing on FOX.
