Iowa jumps out to quick 14-0 lead after long TD run, pick-6
Iowa is off to a good start in its top-25 showdown with Indiana.
The Hawkeyes jumped out to a 14-0 lead over the Hoosiers in the early minutes of the first quarter.
First, it was running back Tyler Goodson who took a carry 56 yards to open the scoring:

Goodson had a breakout season a year ago as he rushed for 762 yards and 7 touchdowns in just eight games. He was a major reason why the Hawkeyes surged toward the end of the 2020 campaign.
Less than a minute later, Indiana QB Michael Penix Jr. threw this pick-6 to Iowa’s Riley Moss:

This is a tough situation for the Hoosiers and Penix Jr., who is playing in his first game since suffering a season-ending knee injury last year.
Iowa has won three consecutive games over the Hoosiers, with the last victory coming in 2018. IU’s last win over the Hawkeyes came in 2012.
