You know that Iowa fans enjoyed Saturday night’s victory against Michigan.

The game-winning field goal capped off the Hawkeyes first win vs. a team ranked in the Associated Press top two since 1985. Naturally, the celebration was plentiful.

But apparently, not everyone understood the magnitude of Saturday night. And apparently, not everyone understood where exactly they were.

According to the Iowa City police reports, one fan didn’t make it into the stadium because of public intoxication. She didn’t even know what stadium she was at:

Michelle Keys, 35, of Ankeny, IA was arrested at Kinnick Stadium at 1918 hours for Public Intoxication. She had slurred speech, spoke in incoherent sentences, and believed she was in Ames, IA at the Iowa State v. Arizona football game. She had a .225 BAC.

Well, Iowa State did play Iowa earlier in the year, but that of course was in Iowa City. Iowa State hasn’t played Arizona State — not even Michigan colors — since 1968.

But hey, there were still plenty of people who understood where they were and who won on Saturday night.
