Iowa releases depth chart ahead of Week 1
The 2019 college football regular season is only a day away from beginning.
On Saturday, Florida is facing Miami (FL) in Orlando. After this weekend, the first full weekend of college football will be played.
With the season quickly approaching, Iowa released its depth chart, that of course, can potentially change.
Note: Iowa plans on switching to a 4-2-5 base defense this season.

Hawkeye fans, feast your eyes. Although again, this is subject to change. Any injury can happen, a player can consistently outperform a player ahead of them on the depth chart over the next week and get the nod for the first snap of the season.
However, this is a good, rough outlook as to who the Hawkeye starters will be. A season ago, Iowa finished 9-4 overall and 5-4 in B1G play. Miami (OH) went 6-6 a season ago and 6-2 in MAC play.
