The University of Iowa’s athletic department has released the latest results from its COVID-19 tests.

On Monday, Iowa updated its latest test results from COVID-19 testing. According to the latest release, Iowa administered 338 COVID-19 screenings and had 15 positive tests with 323 negative results. Testing occurred between Aug. 3 and Aug. 9.

“Following the positive test result, protocol established by UI Athletics and medical staff, including contact tracing procedures, is being followed to ensure the safety of all UI Athletics student-athletes and staff,” Iowa said in a statement. “This mandatory protocol also includes isolation for the individuals who test positive, and quarantine for those individuals who might have been exposed to someone with the virus.”

In total, Iowa has administered 941 tests with 47 positives and 894 negative.

Iowa began testing student-athletes, coaches and staff on May 29.
