Iowa reportedly hit by flu bug earlier this week

No. 16 Iowa has dealt with a widespread flu bug that hit earlier this week as they prepare to face host Nebraska in the regular season finale on Nov. 26.
The tough situation was revealed by Iowa radio announce Rob Brooks. Brooks says that the worst part of the flu bug has already passed.
“Illness has swept through the Iowa football program this week,” — Hawkeye radio announcer Rob Brooks. I’m told the worst of it was earlier in the week.

Iowa is 9-2 overall and first place in the B1G West. The Hawkeyes are on a three-game winning streak, most recently defeating visiting Illinois 33-23. The stingy Iowa defense hasn’t allowed over 27 points all season.
Nebraska is 3-8 overall and sixth place in the B1G West. The Cornhuskers most recently dropping a 35-28 contest at then-No. 15 Wisconsin.
Nebraska leads the all-time series 29-19-3 but Iowa is on a six-game winning streak. Iowa-Nebraska is slated for a 1:30 p.m. (EST) kickoff and will be televised on the BTN.
