The University of Iowa has indicated that two more individuals have tested positive for COVID-19 and student-athletes, coaches and staff members return to campus.

For the week of June 8-14, the school conducted 109 total tests with two returning positive and 107 were negative. So far, three individuals have tested positive and there have been 343 negative tests. The school is following protocol to limit the spread of the virus.

Individuals who test positive will go into isolation while others who have been exposed to the virus will go into quarantine. The school is also following tracing guidelines.

Student-athletes participating in football have already started to return to campus. Monday was the first day that student-athletes in men’s and women’s basketball were permitted to return to campus.
