Iowa football revealed its uniform combo for Week 4’s B1G opener against No. 7 Penn State Tuesday morning.

And they’re clean. The Hawkeyes will suit up with white tops and black pants, which will stand out well against the Nittany Lions as they will be having a White Out night at Beaver Stadium.

To say this game is a big one is an understatement.

Iowa and Penn State are both playing above their respective levels from last season so far in 2023. Drew Allar and Penn State especially have looked like a legitimate threat to win the B1G, but will face it’s first true test Saturday against a Hawkeyes team that has slightly improved offensively with Cade McNamara at the helm.

Iowa is banged up heading into Week 4, too. Starting RB Kaleb Johnson and starting TE Luke Lachey will miss Saturday’s game. Lachey could miss even more time following a leg injury suffered last week against Western Michigan.

The Hawkeyes and Nittany Lions squad off at 7:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
