The Iowa Hawkeyes have had what many would call a solid season in 2018.
The Hawkeyes weren’t able to win the Big Ten West, but did compile an 8-4 record. Iowa will be going bowling this offseason, so the team has done something right.
One thing the Hawkeyes have done right is with their TE play. Noah Fant, a junior, has been a stud for quite some time now. T.J. Hockenson, a sophomore, has also been displaying his dominance.
In 2019, however, Iowa’s dynamic duo at TE will no longer exist. That’s because Fant will be in the NFL:

In 2018, Fant has caught 49 passes for 519 yards and 7 TD. He has now scored 19 TD as a Hawkeye. It is also being reported that Fant will not play in the team’s bowl game:
Tight end Noah Fant has already played his last game as a Hawkeye. Fant announced today that he will be leaving college a year early to enter the NFL Draft and will not play in Iowa's bowl game https://t.co/m4sKW8GIv3 @Rivals @YahooSportsCFB https://t.co/vPIEAoI5z4
