Iowa is off to a hot start, and it was a brilliant catch by Shaun Beyer that got the drive rolling right along!

The senior tight end entered Saturday’s game with just 14 career catches for 206 yards, but he picked up 22 on the first drive alone. While it was a big play, the catch alone was highlight-worthy.

After streaking down the seam, Spencer Petras put up a high throw where only his guy could get it. It initially looked like the throw may fly too high, but that is when Beyer went into action.

He reached up with one hand and was able to control the ball against his body, pulling down the catch with his best Odell Beckham Jr. impression:

Unfortunately for the Hawkeyes, Iowa only got three points at the end of the opening drive. At least they opened the scoring and will try to build on that against Nebraska.
