This Saturday is Veteran’s Day in America, and college football stadiums across the country will be honoring veterans for their sacrifice for our country. Teams will have fly overs and members presenting the colors along with specialized uniforms to celebrate veterans from around the country.

Iowa is tweaking its classic Tigerhawk logo to support Veterans when the Hawkeyes play host to Wisconsin on Saturday.

Iowa has revealed that it will wear special patriotic helmets this weekend for its game against Wisconsin.

The famous Tigerhawk logo decal will have the American flag inside the logo, and the USA spelled out on the front of the helmet.

Every team in the country will have some way that they show appreciation for this who have served.

Iowa is 5-4 overall and 3-3 in B1G conference play sitting at 2nd in the B1G West with an outside shot at a second division title.

The Hawkeyes defeated Purdue 24-3, in West Lafayette, Indiana.

Iowa has its final three games against rival division opponents as they play Wisconsin, at Minnesota and finish with their rival Nebraska.

The Hawkeyes host rival Wisconsin at 3:30 ET, the game will be televised by FS1.
