Iowa wave: Hawkeye fans wave following first quarter of Music City Bowl vs. Kentucky
Iowa might not be playing at Kinnick Stadium for their bowl game, but that won’t stop them from still doing one of the best traditions in all of college football. Fans participated in the Iowa wave at Nissan Stadium during the Music City Bowl.
The tradition usually takes place at Iowa’s home stadium, but after the first quarter fans were seen doing the wave. It’s not clear who the fans were waving at since the game is in Nashville, but that won’t matter to the Hawkeye faithful.

It’s good to see Hawkeye fans keeping the tradition alive. This part of college football is part of the reason why this sport is so great.
Iowa reached the Music City Bowl after finishing the regular season with a 7-5 record. This time around, Iowa will try to earn a win without Spencer Petras or Alex Padilla at QB.
Fans can tune into the game right now on ABC.
