Iowa wasn’t going anywhere.

That much was true after the Hawkeyes improved to 10-0, marking their best start in school history.

Once again, Iowa was safely in the top 5 of the College Football Playoff poll. The unbeaten Hawkeyes came in at No. 5 in the latest College Football Playoff poll.

Also once again, the Hawkeyes had plenty of B1G company in the poll. The conference again placed six teams in the top 25, which was better than any in the country.

Ohio State was slotted at No. 3, while Michigan State jumped all the way up to No. 9, Michigan came in at No. 12 while Northwestern and Wisconsin moved to No. 20 and 25, respectively.

Iowa could be in position to move into the top four next week if it took care of Purdue and Ohio State were to fall.

The Hawkeyes can clinch the B1G West with a win or a Wisconsin loss on Saturday.
