Iowa women's basketball drops electric hype intro for 2023-24 season
Iowa women’s basketball is back, gearing up for the 2023-24 season after a dramatic run to the national title game a season ago.
Led by Caitlin Clark, the Hawkeyes were the buzz of the B1G and the country at large while rolling into the NCAA Tournament. While that run fell short against LSU in the national championship game, Clark and a strong supporting cast return to make another run.
On Thursday, the Hawkeyes are gearing up for a top-10 outing against Virginia Tech. But before the game, the Hawkeyes unveiled a fantastic season intro video.

As for the season opener, Iowa rolled to a dominant 102-46 win over Fairleigh Dickinson with Clark scoring a game-high 28 points on 11-for-17 shooting. She produced a double-double with 10 assists to go with 2 steals and 7 rebounds.
Hannah Stuelke was nearly perfect from the floor for Iowa with 22 points on 9-of-10 shooting, and Sharon Goodman finished with 19 points on 7-for-8 from the floor.
Next up, Iowa will face off against No. 8 Virginia Tech in an early-season top-10 matchup. That game will be broadcast on ESPN2.
