Iowa women's basketball to host College GameDay in regular-season finale
Iowa will host ESPN’s College GameDay on March 3 ahead of its regular-season finale against Ohio State.
The World Wide Leader announced plans for its flagship pregame show to be at Carver-Hawkeye Arena on March 3 on Sunday.
Here’s the official announcement:

That game against the Buckeyes could be Caitlin Clark’s final regular-season home game at Iowa. Clark is a senior, but does have an extra year of eligibility due to the pandemic. It’s currently unclear whether or not Clark will enter the WNBA next season or return to Iowa for a 5th year of women’s college basketball.
To add to the stakes, that game also could be when Clark breaks the all-time scoring record for NCAA basketball (men’s or women’s) that is currently held by former LSU legend Pete Maravich. Clark broke the all-time women’s scoring record earlier this month.
This game will also be a chance for redemption for Iowa, as the Hawkeyes lost to this Ohio State team earlier this season in Columbus. Ohio State currently leads the Big Ten with a 14-1 record in conference play. Fans in Ohio who are interested in betting on that game can sign up with one of Saturday Tradition’s recommended Ohio sportsbooks.
Tipoff for Iowa-Ohio State is set for 12 p.m. CT on March 3.
