Iowa blasted Michigan State last week, and the Hawkeyes hope to keep it going. They’ll take on Minnesota in Week 4.

Minnesota easily handled Illinois in Week 3, and the Gophers are looking to build on that momentum against the Hawkeyes.

This weekend’s game between border-rivals Iowa and Minnesota will be a battle. Both teams enter the game at 1-2 on the year, and last week’s results won’t mean a thing.

The battle for the Floyd of Rosedale trophy will see the winner expected to challenge Wisconsin for a shot at the Big Ten West title, while the loser will likely be headed down a darker path for the remainder of the season.

Hawkeyes offensive lineman Mark Kallenberger had plenty to say about the game:

“This is a trophy game. This is a very competitive game,” said Kallenberger. “They are going to bring it to us. They want that trophy back but we have to do our job to be prepared for the game. It’s going to be a fistfight.”

Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 PM EST, Friday, Nov. 13 at TCF Bank Stadium.
