Iowa Hawkeyes tight end Noah Fant found himself in a scary situation earlier this week.

According to Whotv.com, an Omaha man was arrested and is facing charges for allegedly threatening Fant at gunpoint at a public park.

The incident occurred on Tuesday night, when Fant says he was in the park when a man approached him. The man then told Fant to leave the park and pulled out a handgun.

Fant exited the park and immediately called authorities.

Police were able to locate the suspect and contacted Fant to identify the man who had threatened him. Fant confirmed the right man was in custody.

The man was charged with Making a Terroristic Threat with a Firearm.

Fant, who is an Omaha native, will be entering his sophomore year at Iowa and is expected to be a major contributor.
