Jack Campbell opens second half vs. Ohio State with wild interception of CJ Stroud
Jack Campbell got things started for the Iowa defense in the second half. He intercepted Ohio State QB C.J. Stroud on the first play of the third quarter.
Campbell caught the ball with one hand before bringing it into his chest to complete it. The Iowa offense has not been up to par in this game, but the defense isn’t going to giving up any time soon.
Unfortunately for Iowa, the Hawkeyes turned the ball back over on the ensuing drive.

Campbell leads Iowa in total tackles with 62 on the year. That was his first interception of the season, and he also has 1 fumble recovery. Campbell is still looking for his first sack of the season.
If Campbell keeps this up, there’s no doubt that he’ll be playing on Sundays. Iowa has been known to produce some stellar defensive talents.
Iowa will need to play some balanced football in order to best Ohio State in Columbus.
