During the 2021 season, Jacobs combined with Jack Campbell and Seth Benson to create a particularly formidable linebacker unit for the Hawkeyes. Jacobs posted 53 tackles, an interception and a forced fumble last season.
In 2022, Jacobs was injured early on and made it back onto the field during the middle of the season against Rutgers. Unfortunately, his time back on the field was brief with season-ending surgery eventually needed.
Best of luck to Jacobs at his next destination.
