Jestin Jacobs mic'd up: Iowa shares awesome behind-the-scenes look at LB in fall camp
Jestin Jacobs is gearing up for a big year at Iowa. He’ll hope to be a key contributor for a unit looking to be one of the best in the country.
During the 2021 season, it was a linebacker group of Jack Campbell, Seth Benson and Jacobs that anchored the Hawkeyes. That trio combined for nearly 300 tackles, and each player is back in 2022 for what could be a special performance defensively.
On Thursday, Iowa released an incredible behind-the-scenes look of Jacobs mic’d up in fall camp. Needless to say, Jacobs has to be a pretty terrifying sight for a ball carrier in 2022.

A 4-star prospect in Iowa’s 2019 recruiting class, Jacobs originally saw the field in 2020 with limited numbers. He made a jump in 2021, appearing in all 14 games for the Hawkeyes and finishing with 53 total tackles, an interception and a forced fumble.
Now entering 2022, it looks like Jacobs is hungry for his best season yet.
