Joe Wieskamp, former Iowa forward, signs multi-year professional contract

Joe Wieskamp, a former Iowa basketball star and former San Antonio Spurs guard-forward, was signed to a multi-year contract by the Toronto Raptors Saturday morning.
Wieskamp signed a pair of 10-day contracts earlier in the season, but according to a release the details of his recent deal Saturday has not yet been disclosed.

Wieskamp was selected by the Spurs with the No. 41 overall pick in the 2nd round of the 2021 NBA Draft. He played 3 years at Iowa before entering the draft. His junior and final year was his best, leading Iowa’s offense alongside Luka Garza to being one of the top offenses in the country.
Most of his NBA career has come int he G-league with the Wisconsin Herd and Raptors 905.
