Johnson is coming off a year in which he claimed the British Open for his second major of his career. In 25 starts in 2015, he recorded 10 top-10 finishes.
In July, 2010 he established the Zach Johnson Foundation, which benefits children in need in the Greater Cedar Rapids area. The Foundation’s premier event is the Zach Johnson Foundation Classic, a tournament that features PGA Tour players, as well as some of the game’s future superstars. The event has been held annually since 2011.
The Hawkeyes will look to improve to 8-0 for the first time in six years.
