Kaleb Johnson is off and running in Week 10. He’s already scored against Wisconsin as Iowa built a 14-3 halftime lead over the Badgers.

In the first half, it was Kamari Moulton who ripped off the biggest play with a 30-yard touchdown of his own. But Johnson is once again leading the attack with 14 carries before the break.

Johnson broke through once again, delivering a touchdown from 16 yards out to give the Hawkeyes a 14-3 lead at the time of that score. The Badgers have had their issues trying to corral him with Johnson up to 89 yards and averaging over 6 yards per carry.

That rushing touchdown is Johnson’s 17th of the season, putting him in some illustrious Hawkeye history. He ties Tavian Banks (1997) for the 2nd-most rushing touchdowns in a single season in Iowa’s history, and Johnson is now just 3 touchdowns away from Shonn Greene’s single-season record of 20 set in 2008.

As for his career, Johnson now has 26 rushing touchdowns in his career. That gives him the No. 5 spot on Iowa’s all-time rushing list after previously tying Ladell Betts for that spot with 25 rushing touchdowns. Akrum Wadley and his 28 scores are next in line for 4th overall on Iowa’s all-time list.
