Kaleb Johnson has perfect response to blood on his jersey after win over Washington

Kaleb Johnson is a true workhorse for Iowa’s offense, delivering the majority of the success for the unit so far this season. However, that hasn’t taken a toll on the running back so far after another game with 155+ rushing yards and 3 total touchdowns against Washington.
At his postgame press conference on Saturday, Johnson was asked about something that appeared to be blood on his uniform. He laughed off the situation before claiming that blood likely belonged to a member of the Huskies.
“I’m doing good. I feel like this (blood) is the other team’s,” cracked Johnson. “You get some nicks and bruises, it’s a part of football. I just love the game and I love how physical we are.”

Johnson is truly one of the best backs in the country, and that’s especially seen in the amount of Iowa’s offense is he responsible for on a weekly basis. The Hawkeyes barely cracked 100 passing yards this week, and he accounted for 22 of those yards in addition to his 166 rushing yards.
Overall, Johnson now has 160+ yards in 4 games and has hit 100+ yards in every game but the loss to Ohio State. Johnson also has at least downs in 5 of the 6 games so far this season.
