Keegan Murray had a sensational game for the Sacramento Kings on Friday night.

The former Hawkeye set a new career-high with 29 points and 14 rebounds en route to a 118-113 victory for the Kings.

Murray’s 14 rebounds led all players, and the big man also went 5-of-7 from 3-point range.

The career-best performance also put Murray in the Kings’ history books. Murray became the 1st Kings rookie since Lionel Simmons in 1991 to record 29+ points and 14+ rebounds in a game.

Murray has been one of the bright spots for an exciting Kings team who finds itself right in the thick of the playoff discussion. He is already performing as a key piece for the team in the middle of his rookie NBA season.

Before starring for the Kings, Murray starred for the Hawkeyes. The talented power forward was selected to the 2022 All-B1G team, as well as being named a first-team All-American.
