Keegan Murray will make his NBA debut for the Sacramento Kings on Saturday against the Los Angeles Clippers.

The former Iowa star and 4th overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft was in the Kings’ health and safety protocols and didn’t play in the season opener on Wednesday against the Portland Trail Blazers.

However, according to ESPN’s Marc J. Spears, Murray has been cleared after a week under the protocols, setting him up to be on the court against the Clippers.

“New Kings head coach Mike Brown said he didn’t feel comfortable with Murray playing in a game until he practiced first,” Spears wrote. “Murray was able to fully practice Friday in Sacramento, which led to him being cleared by the Kings.”

Now, Murray is set to take the court for the first time in the regular season and is in line to make his anticipated debut for Sacramento. Tipoff from Golden 1 Center is set for 10:30 p.m. ET.
