Kentucky DC weighs in on how to contain Iowa offense, RB Kaleb Johnson
Kentucky DC Brad White knows that Iowa RB Kaleb Johnson can disrupt defenses. White talked about how to slow down the Hawkeyes’ offense at Friday’s Music City Bowl presser.
Johnson has had a solid campaign in 2022, going for 762 yards rushing with 6 touchdowns.
What it comes down to in regards to slowing down the Iowa offense is making sure that the Hawkeyes aren’t on schedule. White further explained that Johnson is very good at making sure the offense stays on schedule.
“You need to get them off schedule,” said White. “What he allows them to do is stay on schedule.”

White’s defense at Kentucky is allowing 146.8 yards rushing per game this season. The Wildcats currently rank sixth in the SEC in that stat.
Despite Iowa’s offensive struggles, one thing fans have been able to count on has been Johnson’s ability to run the ball. Can Johnson continue his hot streak?
