Kids Day Scrimmage: Kirk Ferentz highlights 2 position groups to watch
Iowa will be having its Kids Day Scrimmage on Saturday, where there will be tackling drills. Kirk Ferentz highlighted 2 position groups that will have a big day per Kennington Lloyd Smith III of the Des Moines Register.
Ferentz believes it should be a big day for the running backs and kickers on the roster. Hawkeyes fans should get a good look at who be leading their backfield in 2022. This will be the 1st season since Tyler Goodson got drafted by the Green Bay Packers.
“Tomorrow’s a big day for the kickers, but it’ll be a big day for the running backs also,” said Ferentz.

Iowa will be full on tackling at Kids Day Scrimmage tomorrow so that’ll be new for them this camp.

There will be some changes coming to the kicking room as well, since Caleb Shudak has graduated. He is now with the Tennessee Titans.
