Iowa has had a successful season in regard to wins and losses. The Hawkeyes will make a bowl game, regardless of the outcome of their final contest thanks to a current 8-3 record.
To close the 2019 regular season, though, Iowa gets Nebraska. The Hawkeyes travel to take on the Cornhuskers at 2:30 p.m. ET on Friday, Nov. 29 (yes, Friday).

On Tuesday, during Hawkeye coach Kirk Ferentz’s press conference, he talked about how every single game against Iowa will be a tough one:

🗣 KF: "We try to teach our players to respect every opponent we play. We respect everybody we play and that's week in and week out." #Hawkeyes

Iowa-Nebraska is a rivalry. And in rivalry games, throw the records out. Hatred can be a powerful thing. And if one team hates another enough, they can play at a level they may not have if they were going against a typical opponent.
Last year, Iowa hosted Nebraska and won 31-28.
