After Iowa’s win against Wisconsin, Hawkeyes head coach got a bit emotional in the locker room with his victory speech.

He ended up saying, “Great job, congratulations” to his players before all the players started cheering and it got even louder to the point where he couldn’t speak anymore.

They ended up bringing the Heartland Trophy back home after the Hawkeyes held the Badgers to just seven points in their 28-7 win.

This win was Iowa’s sixth straight of the season after they originally started out 0-2.

Quarterback Spencer Petras had two passing touchdowns in the game and both of them went to Ihmir Smith-Marsette. Smith-Marsette had 140 yards receiving overall for the game before he had to exit the game due to an injury he suffered while flipping into the endzone.

Iowa’s next game is still up in the air as it’s unknown who they’ll play for Champions Week next weekend if it happens.
