With Iowa’s 41-21 win over Penn State today, Hawkeyes head coach Kirk Ferentz got his 100th Big Ten conference win.

That’s the fourth most of any coach in Big Ten history, according to the Hawkeyes’ official Twitter account:

He was able to accomplish that feat in 22 years as Iowa’s head coach. His overall record at Iowa is 165-106 and he’s coming off two incredible seasons.

Last year, Ferentz went 10-3 and led the Hawkeyes to the Holiday Bowl which they won against USC by a score of 49-24. The year before that, the Hawkeyes went 9-4 and won the Outback Bowl against Mississippi State by a score of 27-22.

His most wins in a season as Hawkeyes head coach was 2015 when Iowa went 12-2 and got to the Rose Bowl.

Ferentz will look to add to not only his overall win total, but his Big Ten conference win total next week when the Hawkeyes play Nebraska on Friday.
