Kirk Ferentz previews Iowa's Week 1 opponent with classic compliments about punting
Kirk Ferentz still really loves punters, in case you forgot. Ferentz had some praise for Utah State punter Stephen Kotsanlee on Tuesday.
If anyone knows about punting, it’s Ferentz. Ferentz kept it short and sweet when talking about the punter, stating Kotsanlee was good. This is coming from the man who beat FCS program South Dakota State last season 7-3, so Ferentz knows what he’s talking about.

One fan joked that Ferentz was simply telling his own players to take the under. Another is looking forward to the inevitable punt competition that they believe will take place.
