Kirk Ferentz addressed media Tuesday afternoon following Iowa’s close win over Northwestern.

The Iowa head coach told reporters that a bunch of guys are “up in the air” right now for Week 11 against Rutgers, though he was able to confirm that OL Beau Stephens is probably out for Saturday.

Ferentz also noted that his hopes are not high regarding the eligibility of DT Noah Shannon, though he did mention that he should be allowed to play.

The Hawkeyes have won 4 of their last 5 and control their own destiny at the top of the B1G West. Rutgers is playing great football right now and just danced with Ohio State for about 3 quarters before bowing out to the CFP No. 1 in the late stages.

Saturday’s game is set for 3:30 ET on BTN.
