Kirk Ferentz provides update on status of Iowa DB Riley Moss
Hawkeyes head coach Kirk Ferentz didn’t have the best update when it came to defensive back Riley Moss.
While Ferentz was speaking to the media on Tuesday, he confirmed that Moss will be out for Saturday’s game against Wisconsin.
No Riley Moss this week, per Kirk Ferentz.

Moss got hurt during the game against Penn State as he injured his left knee. He wasn’t able to play on Oct. 16 against Purdue and the bye week this past Saturday didn’t seem to help towards his return on Oct. 30.
He’s been one of Iowa’s best players on defense this season and a major reason why the team leads the nation in interceptions.
In 5 games, Moss has 23 total tackles (21 solo) with 1 fumble recovery and 4 interceptions (2 of which went back to the house). He’s been money in each game and was set up to potentially have a career year before this setback.
Kickoff against Wisconsin will be at Noon ET on Saturday.
