Kirk Ferentz points out 10-win season last year after questions of positional coaching changes
Kirk Ferentz was quick to point out a 10-win season for Iowa Saturday night. The Hawkeyes lost to Illinois in a 9-6 rock fight.
When asked if he was going to make any positional coaching changes following the embarrassing loss, Ferentz spoke of the past.
KF makes it clear he will not make any coaching changes during the bye week.

“Not sure if you’re aware of that.”— John Steppe (@JSteppe1) October 9, 2022
This is kind of a double own. Correct, a team that won 10 games last season is not on track to win 5 games this season and can’t score more than 20 points to save their lives.
The Hawkeyes have been solid defensively this season, but defense can only get you so far in the college game. Too many mistakes keep teams like Iowa from winning 9-6 ballgames these days.
The Hawkeyes are back in action in 2 weeks against Ohio State.
