Kris Murray may have been feeling pretty sore after how long he played against Michigan on Thursday. Murray updated what he’s going to do to recover at the post game presser.

Iowa battled all night long and earned a 93-84 overtime win over the Wolverines. Murray played 45 minutes and recorded 27 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 assists in the win.

After that, Murray said that he’s planning on laying horizontal on Friday.

Murray also made sure to thank the Iowa fans for supporting the team. Murray noted how Iowa fed off of the fans’ energy and it helped carry them to a win.

“We definitely fed off of the crowd,” said Murray. “Their energy tonight was really good. That’s kind of what brought us back.”

Murray averages 21.4 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game for Iowa. He and Payton Sandfort were a key part of the Hawkeyes’ success on the court.

Iowa takes on Maryland next in Iowa City. Tipoff will be Sunday at 4:30 p.m. ET on BTN.
