Luka Garza is having quite a night in Madison.

The All-American Iowa center had a huge first half as the 11th-ranked Hawkeyes lead No. 21 Wisconsin 36-27 at the break. Garza scored a high of 17 points to lead all scorers through the first 20 minutes of the contest. He also grabbed 6 rebounds and is poised to add another double-double to his career total.

Garza scored 17 points on 7-of-12 shooting, but did serious damage behind the 3-point line, knocking down 3-of-4 attempts. He was also credited with 1 assist in the half.

Iowa is looking to extend its win streak to three games, coming into Madison with back-to-back victories over Rutgers and Michigan State in the last two games. The Hawkeyes are 9-5 in B1G play and 15-6 overall.

Wisconsin is trying to avoid a second-straight loss after blowing a 12-point halftime lead at home against Michigan over the weekend. The Badgers are 9-6 in conference games and own a 15-7 record overall.
