Luke Lachey has injected some hope into Iowa, scoring a clutch touchdown in the fourth quarter for the Hawkeyes.

Despite starting the drive on their own 10-yard line, Iowa produced its best drive of the game against Nebraska. It churned down the field quickly and efficiently behind quarterback Alex Padilla.

After setting up a 3rd down deep inside the red zone, Padilla looked once again to his big tight end. He found Lachey cutting over the middle and let the TE do the rest.

Three Huskers had a shot at Lachey but he never quit and carried the defenders for the score:

Iowa would get a clutch turnover and kicked a field goal to make it 24-17 late in the 4th. Stay tuned to BTN for the finish.
