Nate Stanley climbs Iowa's all-time list with performance vs Wisconsin
Nate Stanley is still climbing his way up Iowa’s all-time lists, this time making a move on the all-time passing yards list.
During Saturday’s game against Wisconsin, Stanley went past Ricky Stanzi for third place on the all-time passing list for the Hawkeyes. Stanzi finished his career with 7,377 passing yards, and Stanley is now up to 7,384 yards and counting.
Iowa FB Live shared the announcement:
With that completion to Smith-Marsette, Nate Stanley (7,384) passes Ricky Stanzi (7,377) for third place in career passing yards. #Hawkeyes

Stanley will have a shot at second place on the all-time list, but it stands as a long shot. Drew Tate is second with 8,292 yards and Chuck Long is first with 9,671 yards. Tate and Long are currently the only Hawkeyes to ever throw for more than 8,000 yards. Stanley will get at least three more games and a bowl game to try and hit that mark.
