Nico Ragaini describes 'emotionally draining' experience on Iowa's sideline in thrilling win
Iowa got a huge win on Saturday night against Penn State at Kinnick Stadium.
The Hawkeyes scored 10 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to pull out the 23-20 victory. Iowa’s defense was dominant for much of the game, forcing four interceptions from Penn State quarterbacks Sean Clifford and Ta’Quan Roberson.
After the game, Iowa receiver Nico Ragaini addressed the emotion behind the victory.
“I’m so emotionally drained,” he told reporters after the game. “I was screaming so much for the defense that I was tearing up. I care about these guys so much.”

Ragaini had a team-high 4 catches for 73 yard and 1 touchdown in the victory.
Iowa is now in the driver’s seat for the Big Ten West title. The Hawkeyes aren’t currently slated to face another ranked team this season and have a 1.5-game cushion on everyone else in the division.
If Iowa does win out, it could qualify for its first College Football Playoff berth. The Hawkeyes host Purdue in Week 7.
