Payton Sandfort excited to continue ‘brother legacy’ with brother Pryce at Iowa basketball

Payton Sandfort will get to play with a familiar face at Iowa. His brother Pryce is committed to the Hawkeyes and is from the 2023 class.
Payton was a former 3-star PF, while Pryce is currently ranked as a 4-star SF per the 247Sports Composite. Iowa has had plenty of brothers play on the same roster. The Murray and McCaffery brothers will soon have a new duo joining the “brother legacy.”
Payton thinks Pryce is going to fit in well at Iowa and can’t wait to play with him again like in high school.
“I think he’s going to be awesome,” Payton said of Pryce. “We played together for a couple of years in high school and we grew up playing in the driveway and stuff. I’m really excited for him to get here and I think we can do some special things. We can carry on the brother legacy.”
Payton will have to wait a little while to play with Pryce again, but it’ll all be worth it.
