Riley Moss will get to face Charlie Jones for the first time since Jones’ decision to transfer. Iowa and Purdue are set to face off in Week 10.

Jones has lit up nearly every secondary that he’s gone against so far. Jones has had 100+ yards receiving in five of Purdue’s eight games this season.

Moss was asked about Jones and said that he hasn’t talked to the receiver in a long time. Moss joked that his plan for Jones is simply keeping the Boilermaker star from catching the ball. Playing Jones close could be the key to stopping him, according to Moss.

“I’m going to make sure he doesn’t catch the ball,” Moss said with a laugh. “No. He’s a fast kid, and he can run around. It sounds stupid: Just literally stay on him and don’t let him catch the ball.”

We’ll see how this goes for Moss. Jones has had a lot of success this season and is nearing 1,000 yards receiving for Purdue. Jones has 840 yards receiving through eight games.

Jones will get to reunite with his former teammate in Moss at Ross-Ade Stadium. Iowa-Purdue kicks off at noon ET on FS1 this Saturday.
