Riley Moss is heading to the Reese’s Senior Bowl. Okay, you’ve heard that story before, but this time it’s for real!
Following the 2021 college football season, Moss was invited to the Senior Bowl, and the star defensive back for the Hawkeyes accepted. However, that’s not how things ultimately played out in Mobile.
Moss had a change of heart and returned to Iowa City to utilize his extra year of eligibility in 2022. Now — with his eligibility exhausted — Moss is indeed on his way to the Senior Bowl.
Jim Nagy — Executive Director for the Senior Bowl — had some fun with Moss’ acceptance of the invitation Wednesday morning. Nagy shared an image of the Senior Bowl jersey for Moss, only it was the jersey designed for the 2022 game.
“Saved it for you,” Nagy wrote while tagging Moss in the note. Nagy also “finally” welcomed Moss to Mobile:

Before the Senior Bowl, Moss and the Hawkeyes will get a chance to play in a bowl game.
It will be interesting to see how he looks during the build-up for the 2023 NFL Draft.
