Spencer Petras pleased with 'incredible' Kinnick Stadium atmosphere vs. Penn State
Spencer Petra has been around Iowa for some memorable performances, but the one he witnessed Saturday night rivals all of them.
In the Week 6 game vs. Penn State, the Hawkeyes rallied from a 17-3 deficit to knock off the Nittany Lions by a final score of 23-20. Petras finished 17-for-31 passing with 195 yards 2 TDs and an interception. He also provided the dagger, connecting with Nico Ragiani for the go-ahead score in the fourth quarter.
After the game, Petras was asked about the environment set inside Kinnick Stadium. He said it was an incredible environment and labeled it the loudest game he’s ever experienced as a member of the Hawkeyes.
