If fans were ever wondering who would win in a Spencer Petras-Alex Padilla matchup, they now have their answer. Cody Hills of the Villages Daily Sun did a simulation on NCAA Football 14 with updated rosters where Iowa played itself with different starting quarterbacks.

Padilla’s team beat Petras’ team 27-14 but both had their fair share of mistakes. Padilla had 196 yards passing with 1 interception. Petras finished the game with 197 yards passing, 1 touchdown, and 3 interceptions.

Even though a new version of the game hasn’t come out in nearly a decade, it looks like there’s still some things that it gets right. Petras has 939 yards passing with 2 touchdowns and 3 interceptions this season.

Padilla has yet to play a game for the Hawkeyes so far. Maybe Brian Ferentz will watch this video and change his mind about playing Padilla at starting quarterback instead of Petras.

Iowa faces Ohio State Saturday at noon ET on FOX.
