TJ Hockenson had a monster game on Sunday.

The fourth-year man out of Iowa had 8 receptions in the game, tallying up 179 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the Detroit Lions’ loss to the Seahawks. He had one reception that went for 81 yards alone in the game.

Before Sunday’s game, Hockenson had just 82 yards and a touchdown through the first two games of the season, but the performance Sunday might spark something for Hockenson. Sunday marked Hockenson’s first career game of 2 or more touchdowns.

Through his first couple of seasons, Hockenson has racked up nearly 2,000 yards and picked up 15 touchdowns.

Hockenson played just two seasons at Iowa in 2017 and 2018. In his time with the Hawkeyes, he racked up 1,037 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Hockenson and the Lions will look to get back on track next week as they take on the Patriots.
