Twitter reacts to Iowa's top-five College Football Playoff poll ranking
Iowa was the subject of plenty of criticism last week when it came in at No. 9 in the first College Football Playoff poll last week.
This week, it was a different story.
Despite the fact that they beat four-win Indiana, the Hawkeyes jumped up four spots all the way up to No. 5 in the latest College Football Playoff poll. And once again, there were some strong reactions to Iowa’s spot.
Here were some of the best from college football personalities.
"Having Iowa up there at #5… The logic of that has completely lost me. I'm sorry." – @finebaum #CFP25 pic.twitter.com/EZ0aTytGfz

Love that Iowa got respect and is at No. 5… Now I don't see any way an undefeated Hawkeyes team could get left out of the @CFBPlayoff.

Iowa being called the 5th best team in the country just confirms that the selection committee doesn't actually watch college football

Feel like the committee auto-corrected itself on Iowa. Agree having them above Baylor, but what changed from last week?

Iowa fans right now, probably.
